BalANZ Trial

The formation of of glucose degradation products (GDPs) is pH dependent and arises during the sterilization process and storage of peritoneal dialysis fluids.
A dual-chambered bag allows the sterilization of the glucose to be performed at a very low pH, thus greatly reducing GDP formation.
